The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jorginho Mello's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Evaristo Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Frederico Vides made a huge save. The corner ended in Alan Almeida almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Futebol Clube Cascavel's Frederico Vides did a great save. Aírton Massa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Futebol Clube Cascavel's Frederico Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 22nd minute of play. Frederico Vides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurgain Ruiz went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. MAZER SAF's attentive Alan Almeida managed to snatch the ball when Faustão Moura made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. MAZER SAF's Laurgain Ruiz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Laurgain Ruiz notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Futebol Clube Cascavel's Frederico Vides. Frederico Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute of the match, Evaristo Castro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frederico Vides was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Vágner Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Castro was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futebol Clube Cascavel's goalkeeper Frederico Vides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 57 minutes Futebol Clube Cascavel's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alan Almeida who took care of the corner kick. Futebol Clube Cascavel's Frederico Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Motta in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Laurgain Ruiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederico Vides was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. André Lucas's late challenge caught a Futebol Clube Cascavel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Vides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the game, Aírton Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futebol Clube Cascavel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAZER SAF the free kick. A collision led to Futebol Clube Cascavel getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aírton Massa hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes, MAZER SAF's Alan Almeida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frederico Vides came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MAZER SAF reached it. Laurgain Ruiz took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederico Vides. Frederico Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 83 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube Cascavel's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Motta came free, but Frederico Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Laurgain Ruiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederico Vides. Futebol Clube Cascavel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurgain Ruiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. MAZER SAF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
