When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Tasso put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cléber Trevisan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmo Seco during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Davi got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Seco. Brasas's Doni Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Vergílio in the 26th minute of play. Doni Pimenta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emílio Vergílio went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-5 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, Brasas's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Vergílio came free, but Doni Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agenor Santos hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match.
