Dênis Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Amorim in the 3rd minute. Adalberto Simões was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Goat Murders fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ponte de Safena a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Natanael Almeida, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira. 1-0. When Sidney Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Goat Murders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Mandrak couldn't finish the play. Rubens Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dênis Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Goat Murders got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Porto. Dênis Teixeira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Natanael Almeida. Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Dracena in the 29th minute of play. Murilo Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Murilo Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponte de Safena's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dênis Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dênis Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Pedro Luís Moreira sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Goat Murders's João Paulo Schmidt got a free kick in the 41st minute. Zé Pedro Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Rubens Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Teixeira having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manfredo Tinoco was the one to do the kick off. If Manfredo Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Pedro Luís Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponte de Safena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luís Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belmiro Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Teixeira having to interfere. In the 66th minute Belmiro Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Rubens Carneiro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira. Dênis Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Augusto Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dênis Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dênis Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Moreira in the 80th minute of play forced Goat Murders's goalkeeper Dênis Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Dracena in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Agnaldo Alagoano notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira. Dênis Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Marinho in the 90th minute of play. Dênis Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Carneiro in the 92nd minute of the match. Pedro Luís Moreira scored 6-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dênis Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ponte de Safena had played much better football throughout.
