The supporters of invictus booed when Sputnik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When invictus's Raí de Moraes in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sputnik FC's goalie prevented a goal. Guilherme Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí de Moraes in the 12th minute of play. José Augusto Paraibano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in invictus's zone, Francisco da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Cearense came out of the goal and Francisco da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, invictus's Dadá Pombal got a free kick in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, invictus's goalkeeper Sérgio Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Tróia. When invictus's Raí de Moraes in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sputnik FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dadá Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Vieira having to make a save. Deivid Tavares hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 minutes, Raí de Moraes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sputnik FC's Guilherme Vieira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sputnik FC's zone, Raí de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guilherme Vieira came out of the goal and Raí de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, invictus's goalkeeper Sérgio Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deivid Tavares. The audience was convinced that Raí de Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Vieira was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Sérgio Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Pinho in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raí de Moraes was the one to do the kick off. Raí de Moraes in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guilherme Vieira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Claudinei Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Ceresso's late challenge caught a invictus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio Ceresso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of invictus booed when Sputnik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco da Costa scored 1-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sérgio Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Sputnik FC were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after invictus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francisco da Costa took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Francisco da Costa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sérgio Cearense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. invictus's Sérgio Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco da Costa in the 70th minute of play. Sérgio Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Tavares in the 71st minute of play. Sérgio Cearense came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Sputnik FC's Francisco da Costa. But to his dismay, Francisco da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. invictus's Sérgio Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Tróia in the 79th minute of play. When Álvaro Carioca fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored invictus's protests and gave Álvaro Carioca a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 minutes of play, invictus's Raí de Moraes made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Tróia in the 88th minute of play forced invictus's goalkeeper Sérgio Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Caco Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sputnik FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave invictus the free kick. The invictus fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when invictus's Raí de Moraes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The invictus players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
