But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernani Sanches couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Clube de Regatas Flalengo's goalkeeper Gonçalo Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernani Sanches. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Couto in the 16th minute of play forced Indios SS's goalkeeper Roberto Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton Couto in the 22nd minute of the match. The Clube de Regatas Flalengo fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Clube de Regatas Flalengo's Elivélton Couto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Elivélton Couto sped through Indios SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Tinoco. After some careless play in the Indios SS defense, Elivélton Couto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Tinoco. The Indios SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Tinoco should have stopped the shot. In the 57th match minute, Indios SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Tinoco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nuno Gomes. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Indios SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clube de Regatas Flalengo:s goal. Elivélton Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Roberto Tinoco made a huge save. Elivélton Couto scored 0-8 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Tinoco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basílio de Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. Roberto Tinoco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nuno Gomes. After a rather tough play, Indios SS's Edinho Camargo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Indios SS's Roberto Tinoco got control of the ball when Elivélton Couto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nuno Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Tinoco having to interfere. Clube de Regatas Flalengo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
