In the 14th match minute, Los Bacanas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Guaberto Lavet in the 15th minute really tested Olívio Arruda's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Elivélton Correia's late challenge caught a Freire FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elivélton Correia helped the player get up and apologised. Álvaro Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Dionísio in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caco Vianna during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 23 minutes in the game Dino Quirino got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Álvaro Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álvaro Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Salles in the 28th minute of the match. Álvaro Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Los Bacanas FC booed when Freire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Fernado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilson Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Los Bacanas FC booed when Freire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Célio Dionísio made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Freire FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Célio Dionísio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Freire FC's Váldson de Medeiros. But to his dismay, Váldson de Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edison Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Edison Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Arruda. Los Bacanas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edison Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Freire FC's Álvaro Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Freire FC from getting a goal against them. Váldson de Medeiros scored 4-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olívio Arruda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Váldson de Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Freire FC's protests and gave Váldson de Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Bacanas FC booed when Freire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tostão Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edison Murillo came free, but Olívio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Lavet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Freire FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elivélton Correia. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edison Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elivélton Correia hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edison Murillo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olívio Arruda saved Los Bacanas FC from getting behind. When Freire FC's Guaberto Lavet in 88 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Olívio Arruda guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 93rd minute, Alessandro Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Guaberto Lavet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olívio Arruda skillfully saved the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Freire FC fully deserved thier win.
