Maik Chakravorty hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Cirilo Lefebre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Rui Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Lefebre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serginho Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Cristóvão Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Veiga couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Thiago Paraense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rui Barbosa. The goal made the score 2-0. Rui Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Lefebre in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Brasília FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Lefebre came free, but Rui Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Paraense in the 43rd minute of play forced Brasília FC's goalkeeper Rui Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Paraense in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maik Chakravorty in the 73rd minute of play forced Brasília FC's goalkeeper Rui Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brasília FC's goalkeeper Rui Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Narciso Passos got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 79th match minute, Brasília FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Passos to maneuver through the defense. After 81 minutes of play, BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Thiago Paraense made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rui Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Lefebre in the 84th minute of the match. Hermínio Massa hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Lefebre in the 87th minute of play forced Brasília FC's goalkeeper Rui Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Cirilo Lefebre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Rui Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
