Hortêncio Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paulo Catarinense in the 3rd minute of the match. Lauro Matos was a little too slow when Oswaldo Damião got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-1. Oswaldo Damião did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Lauro Matos 15 minutes into the match. Hortêncio Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lauro Matos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Oswaldo Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauro Matos was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Cristiano Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Hortêncio Dracena made a huge save. Lauro Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Damião's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the game, Júnior Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Lauro Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oswaldo Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Matos having to interfere. Lauro Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Matos in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Oswaldo Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Jurupari players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
