Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristóvão Alvarenga kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Doni da Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ruy de Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Regina Apostolorum's Ruy de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Alvarenga in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Discovery getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Michalis Villas hit a great ball. Ruy de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Filipe Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruy de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ruy de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Alvarenga in the 24th minute of play. Regina Apostolorum's Ruy de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Alvarenga in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Gualter do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristóvão Alvarenga scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Alvarenga in the 37th minute of play forced Regina Apostolorum's goalkeeper Ruy de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-4 became the score in the 39th minute when Gualter do Valle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Ian Cavalcante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Discovery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 46 minutes into the match, Regina Apostolorum's goal looked a bit too open when Doni da Silva came free, but Ruy de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Vítor do Vale to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Filipe Palmeira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruy de Carvalho. The goal made the score 0-7. Ian Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Regina Apostolorum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Discovery getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cristóvão Alvarenga hit a great ball. Ruy de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Cavalcante in the 64th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Discovery's Ian Cavalcante slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruy de Carvalho. That made the score 0-8 after 65 minutes of play. In the 68th minute Cristóvão Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Discovery booed when Regina Apostolorum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Cristóvão Alvarenga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 80 minutes into the match, Regina Apostolorum's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Cavalcante came free, but Ruy de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruy de Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cristóvão Alvarenga sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Gilvan Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 84 minutes, Michalis Villas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Discovery's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michalis Villas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Alvarenga got free with Ruy de Carvalho in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Regina Apostolorum's Wiliam de Mendonça got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Cavalcante in the 87th minute of play forced Regina Apostolorum's goalkeeper Ruy de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Alvarenga got free with Ruy de Carvalho in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Vítor do Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Vítor do Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, João Vítor do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Discovery's Cristóvão Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruy de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Discovery played a much better game than Regina Apostolorum and deserved their victory. The Regina Apostolorum players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
