Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) With 4 minutes on the clock, Murillo Messias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bigorna's goalkeeper Arnaldo Valladares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bigorna's Arnaldo Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Cavalcante in the 6th minute of play. Arnaldo Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Cavalcante in the 15th minute of the match. Cristóvão Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Valladares made a huge save. After 16 minutes, Marcel Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bigorna and the Discovery players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bigorna getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Marcel Eger hit a great ball. Cristóvão Alvarenga took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Valladares. Arnaldo Valladares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 21st minute, Ian Cavalcante reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnaldo Valladares. The goal made the score 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Ian Cavalcante notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bigorna's Arnaldo Valladares. Arnaldo Valladares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnaldo Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Cavalcante in the 31st minute of play. Bigorna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Ian Cavalcante scored to the left of an out of position Arnaldo Valladares, making the score, 4-0. Arnaldo Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Cavalcante in the 36th minute of the match. Cristóvão Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Valladares made a huge save. In the 40th minute Ian Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Discovery booed when Bigorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Cavalcante in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristóvão Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Valladares made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manoel Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gláuber do Valle fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bigorna's protests and gave Gláuber do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Gláuber do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Discovery's Michalis Villas tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ediberto Paes hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bigorna getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Paulo José Trancoso hit a great ball. Arnaldo Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Valladares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ian Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Cristóvão Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Discovery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. A collision led to Discovery getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ian Cavalcante hit a great ball. Doni da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Valladares having to interfere. Cristóvão Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Alvarenga in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter do Valle in the 88th minute of play forced Bigorna's goalkeeper Arnaldo Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Doni da Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Valladares. Bigorna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doni da Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Arnaldo Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Cavalcante in the 96th minute of play.
