Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristóvão Alvarenga made the kick off which started today's match. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Lartaun Ibar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lartaun Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter do Valle in the 5th minute of the match. Godfredo Teodor came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Guimarães's Dmitriy Didorenko. But to his dismay, Dmitriy Didorenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ian Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lartaun Ibar having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Discovery's Cristóvão Alvarenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lartaun Ibar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Godfredo Teodor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efraim Morais's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Discovery's zone, Efraim Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Teodor came out of the goal and Efraim Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.A.Guimarães's Dmitriy Didorenko got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lartaun Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Cavalcante in the 28th minute of the match. Dmitriy Didorenko succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 32nd minute Efraim Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efraim Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Godfredo Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraim Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, C.A.Guimarães's Lartaun Ibar got control of the ball when Doni da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Discovery getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Felipe Restu hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Discovery's goal looked a bit too open when Efraim Morais came free, but Godfredo Teodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes, Marcelo Linares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Guimarães and the Discovery players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Discovery booed when C.A.Guimarães was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Discovery's Michalis Villas got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Dmitriy Didorenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Guimarães fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

Lartaun Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes Discovery's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelo Linares who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Discovery getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Aníbal Ribeiro hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Peter Unesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efraim Morais got free with Godfredo Teodor in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 minutes C.A.Guimarães's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michalis Villas who took care of the corner kick. In the 75th minute, Cristóvão Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godfredo Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efraim Morais in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.A.Guimarães's Duarte Neiva got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cristóvão Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lartaun Ibar having to make a save. Efraim Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Godfredo Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efraim Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dmitriy Didorenko kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
