But to his dismay, Tombolo Wa Kadima De Las Cuevas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Denílson Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Samuca de Sousa made a huge save. In the 27th minute Vicente Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes, Yan Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carinhatas F.C and the Castelhano EC 2004 players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson Araújo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Yan Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Carinhatas F.C's goalkeeper Douglas Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Lago. Samuca de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Valle in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Fernandinho Tasso could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Douglas Motta however easily saved by the left post. In the 76th minute, Castelhano EC 2004's Tombolo Wa Kadima De Las Cuevas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Castelhano EC 2004 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
