Carinhatas F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elder Meireles 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After 10 played minutes Carinhatas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Coutinho. Carinhatas F.C's Douglas Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Meireles in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Faria during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, GrandBulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Faria to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Carinhatas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Faria came free, but Douglas Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Motta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Faria went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 25 minutes of play, GrandBulls's Alfredo Faria made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Alfredo Faria notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Carinhatas F.C's Douglas Motta. Douglas Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st match minute, GrandBulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Soeiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Carinhatas F.C's Felipe Soeiro got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match Horácio Costa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Douglas Motta skillfully saved the ball. Jorginho Valle struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Luiz Fernando Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carinhatas F.C. Luiz Fernando Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Valle in the 40th minute of play. Carinhatas F.C's Davi Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

GrandBulls's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jorginho Valle 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 6-1. Jorginho Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Paulinho Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carinhatas F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Carinhatas F.C booed when GrandBulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Carinhatas F.C's Jorginho Valle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Fernando Vaz. Luiz Fernando Vaz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-2. If Jorginho Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GrandBulls's Luiz Fernando Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Valle in the 68th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Valle in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Meireles in the 78th minute of play forced Carinhatas F.C's goalkeeper Douglas Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, GrandBulls's Kléberson Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. Lino Baptista hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Carinhatas F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
