Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão de Barros in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Prodigy Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Azevedo came free, but Rodolfo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prodigy Team's Rodolfo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Azevedo in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Gilmar Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 42nd minute, Diego de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geraldo Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrézinho Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 74th minute, THE MAYA's Simão de Barros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodolfo Maranhense. Rodolfo Maranhense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6.
