Hyper9 -DMZ-'s Ronaldo Braga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chiquinho Sá, made in the 5th minute of the game. Ian Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Renan Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ian Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber das Neves in the 13th minute of play forced Buriche's goalkeeper Renan Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Falcão having to interfere. Magno Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Falcão having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magno Rocha got free with Sérgio Falcão in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serginho Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Aguiar in the 26th minute of play forced Buriche's goalkeeper Renan Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Buriche's Betão Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Falcão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Magno Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Falcão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magno Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. Sérgio Falcão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Rocha in the 42nd minute. Buriche's Gernando Sabóia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jorginho Loureiro in the 44 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Hyper9 -DMZ-'s zone, Magno Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Falcão came out of the goal and Magno Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Samuca Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Buriche fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Meireles couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ian Aguiar made a kick off. Samuca Meireles might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Falcão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuca Meireles ran back to his position shaking his head. Samuca Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Falcão having to interfere. If Magno Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Samuca Meireles notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hyper9 -DMZ-'s Sérgio Falcão. Sérgio Falcão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuca Meireles took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Falcão. Sérgio Falcão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Hyper9 -DMZ-'s zone, Magno Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Falcão came out of the goal and Magno Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sérgio Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Hyper9 -DMZ-'s Thiago Pinho got a free kick in the 75th minute. Hyper9 -DMZ-'s Sérgio Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Rocha in the 81st minute of play. Magno Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sérgio Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magno Rocha hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Magno Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buriche's supporters rose to their feet, but Magno Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the game, Buriche's Magno Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Falcão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Buriche walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
