Maceió Ice Dragons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cumbe EC the free kick. Cumbe EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulão Pombal couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Paulão Pombal made a precise shot to the right of Tony de Alcântara. Cumbe EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 86 played minutes Maceió Ice Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Maranhense. 92 minutes into the game, Maceió Ice Dragons's Paulão Pombal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony de Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The supporters of Maceió Ice Dragons booed when Cumbe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maceió Ice Dragons's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
