An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani das Neves in the 2nd minute of play forced Leonor Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Anselmo Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 3 played minutes Leonor Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Guga Veiga. Guga Veiga hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Anjinho AD's Giovanni Vieira got a free kick in the 10th minute. Juninho Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Danilo de Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leonor Futebol Clube. Anjinho AD's Danilo de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Sampaio in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Rafa de Lima dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danilo de Souza, 1-0. After 25 played minutes Leonor Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Pena. Danilo de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa de Lima in the 27th minute of play. Vicente Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Ernani das Neves put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anselmo Lucas. In the 44th minute, Ernani das Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 47 played minutes Anjinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Dinko Švalj. The Leonor Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anjinho AD were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafa de Lima made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Leonor Futebol Clube got a corner. Anjinho AD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juninho Catarinense ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Juninho Catarinense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Danilo de Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anselmo Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani das Neves in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Leonor Futebol Clube's Anselmo Lucas got control of the ball when Ernani das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernani das Neves did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Anselmo Lucas 60 minutes into the match. If Tiago Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Rafa de Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anjinho AD's Danilo de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute of the match, Ernani das Neves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anselmo Lucas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 78 minutes into the match, Júnior Sampaio notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Anjinho AD's Danilo de Souza. Danilo de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82ndth minute of the game Rafa de Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anjinho AD's Danilo de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Ernani das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Júnior Sampaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. When Wágner Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anjinho AD's protests and gave Wágner Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead.
