Claudinho Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio de Salles in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fellipe Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fellipe Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio de Salles in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Gil Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antônio de Salles hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Antônio de Salles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Fellipe Messias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 38 minutes into the match, Verdão da Mogiana's goalkeeper Fellipe Messias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio de Salles. Alberto Ackerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cachaceiros FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arlindo Luz hit a great ball.

Cachaceiros FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Alberto Ackerman scored to the left of an out of position Paulo José Ceresso, making the score, 0-1. Paulo José Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Ackerman in the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Bezerra got free with Paulo José Ceresso in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo José Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Ackerman in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cachaceiros FC's Arlindo Luz got a free kick in the 65th minute. Silvio Nastasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Paulo José Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Ale Crowley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alberto Ackerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdão da Mogiana's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Ackerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo José Ceresso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Verdão da Mogiana's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
