Carlos Alberto Gerber had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Giovanni Breckenfeld's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Carlos Alberto Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Horácio Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natã Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percival Bezerra in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guerreiros da Bola FC's zone, Percival Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natã Meireles came out of the goal and Percival Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovanni dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Alberto Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovanni dos Santos went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Kléber do Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Alberto Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Percival Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Natã Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Guerreiros da Bola FC's Geovanni dos Santos in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Badejo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléber do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Guerreiros da Bola FC's Kléber do Nascimento got a free kick in the 61st minute. Badejo FC's Carlos Alberto Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Cachia Zammit in the 65th minute of play. Percival Bezerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natã Meireles. Guerreiros da Bola FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ian Cachia Zammit came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Guerreiros da Bola FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Cachia Zammit couldn't finish the play. Horácio Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Alberto Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Cachia Zammit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guerreiros da Bola FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
