Recursolandia's Alfredão Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Recursolandia got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Cosme. Wágner Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wágner Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wágner Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Nico Dahmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Pitta having to interfere. When Flávio Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Fonseca couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Luís Fernando Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vic Vanpevenaeyge was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Alfredão Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Recursolandia's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Fonseca came free, but Vic Vanpevenaeyge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Recursolandia got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Cosme. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Luís Fernando Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Doriva de Sousa. With an all-out effort, Corinthians's Vic Vanpevenaeyge threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luís Fernando Cardoso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71stth minute of the game Nico Dahmen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corinthians's Lucas Pitta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With splendid footwork Luís Fernando Cardoso arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 72nd minute. In the 77th minute, Alfredão Romero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Pitta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Luís Fernando Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fernando Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Alfredão Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Recursolandia's Vic Vanpevenaeyge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Recursolandia from getting a goal against them. Corinthians succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Recursolandia had controlled the match.
