Vic Vanpevenaeyge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Giovanni Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mourad Amirouche was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Sport Guild Atlantis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Recursolandia getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cléberson Zanussi hit a great ball. If Mourad Amirouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Messias made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, André Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Guild Atlantis's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If André Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Célio Palmeira took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vic Vanpevenaeyge. Vic Vanpevenaeyge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Nico Dahmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, André Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Guild Atlantis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Messias in the 83rd minute of play forced Recursolandia's goalkeeper Vic Vanpevenaeyge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Recursolandia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dinei Chaves was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Guild Atlantis's players had a chance to rest. Dinei Chaves made a great header on Sport Guild Atlantis's corner, it was just that Recursolandia's Vic Vanpevenaeyge managed to reach the ball for a save.
