Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Santos FC da ZL's Benedito Salgado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santos FC da ZL's Emílio Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Cavalcante in the 2nd minute of play. Durvalino Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emílio Zanette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Santos FC da ZL's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Maietta came free, but Emílio Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Maietta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Durvalino Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute Amos Maietta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Amos Maietta came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Itapema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Maietta couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Durvalino Cavalcante sped through Santos FC da ZL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emílio Zanette. Emílio Zanette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durvalino Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Emílio Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Maietta in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Amos Maietta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emílio Zanette was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amos Maietta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emílio Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Itapema's Durvalino Cavalcante in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santos FC da ZL's goalie prevented a goal. After 40 minutes, Durvalino Cavalcante made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Santos FC da ZL's Emílio Zanette tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Santos FC da ZL's Emílio Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Cavalcante in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Durvalino Cavalcante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Durvalino Cavalcante kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emílio Zanette. That made the score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. In the 54th minute, Amos Maietta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emílio Zanette, passed just outside the right post. Emílio Zanette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durvalino Cavalcante in the 56th minute. Emílio Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Maietta in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Itapema's Enrique Loureiro got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Durvalino Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durvalino Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Itapema's Durvalino Cavalcante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emílio Zanette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd play minute Durvalino Cavalcante came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emílio Zanette. 0-5. In the 76th minute Amos Maietta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durvalino Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Emílio Zanette made a huge save. Emílio Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Maietta in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Itapema's Amos Maietta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Benedito da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Santos FC da ZL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Itapema:s goal. Emílio Zanette had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Vladimir Albuquerque's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 90 minutes of play, Itapema's Durvalino Cavalcante made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio Zanette was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emílio Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Maietta in the 96th minute of play. Durvalino Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Emílio Zanette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapema. The Santos FC da ZL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Itapema were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
