Valdomiro Pimenta hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Edinho Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. CENZI's supporters rose to their feet, but Edinho Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Variant 1971 defense, Edinho Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Chaves. The Variant 1971 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Chaves should have stopped the shot. Variant 1971's Eriberto Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Freire in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Tadeu Sabóia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eriberto Chaves, 4-0. Variant 1971's Eriberto Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Dias in the 23rd minute of play. Eriberto Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edinho Viana went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in CENZI's zone, Cauã Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Cardozo came out of the goal and Cauã Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisão Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Filipe Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Cardozo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, CENZI's Ramiro Camargo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eriberto Chaves. Eriberto Chaves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Teodoro Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Barbosa in the 46th minute of play. Túlio Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edinho Viana to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Variant 1971 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Sabóia in the 57th minute of play forced Variant 1971's goalkeeper Eriberto Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CENZI getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tadeu Sabóia hit a great ball. Edinho Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. CENZI's Teodoro Cardozo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save CENZI from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the game, Edinho Viana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Eriberto Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Edinho Viana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Chaves. Variant 1971's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edinho Viana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Edinho Viana might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edinho Viana ran back to his position shaking his head. Eriberto Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Dias in the 77th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Ramiro Camargo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Chaves. Variant 1971's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Camargo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. Eriberto Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Camargo went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. Túlio Dias took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Chaves. Eriberto Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-1. The supporters of Variant 1971 booed when CENZI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Dias in the 96th minute of play forced Variant 1971's goalkeeper Eriberto Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Dias in the 96th minute of the match. CENZI were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Variant 1971 for a fine match.
