In the 12thth minute of the game Mikael Lingren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Variant 1971's Eriberto Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mogi FC - DMZ-'s Osvaldinho Romero pulled a muscle in his back after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Cauã Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Variant 1971's protests and gave Cauã Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. Mogi FC - DMZ- made a substitution. Ediberto Sampaio replaced Osvaldinho Romero. Eriberto Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Diego Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Mogi FC - DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Pombal couldn't finish the play. Pedro Geromel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eriberto Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mogi FC - DMZ-'s Pedro Geromel got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikael Lingren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Geromel kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Tadeu Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eriberto Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Eriberto Chaves managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Mogi FC - DMZ-'s Mikael Lingren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Diego Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Eriberto Chaves made a huge save. Tadeu Oliveira took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Chaves. Eriberto Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Mikael Lingren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Eriberto Chaves made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Mogi FC - DMZ-'s Diego Pombal got a free kick in the 89th minute. Elivélton Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eriberto Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Mogi FC - DMZ- left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Variant 1971.
