Tiago Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adalberto Torres's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. When Jeferson Peixoto fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's protests and gave Jeferson Peixoto a yellow card for diving instead. Jeferson Peixoto hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes of play, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Tony Botelho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Tião Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Lopes. Aikivida's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tião Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Aikivida's Sérgio Aparecido got a free kick in the 37th minute. A collision led to Aikivida getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sérgio Aparecido hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Tiago Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Aikivida were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Botelho in the 64th minute of play forced Aikivida's goalkeeper Daniel Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Tiago Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luiz Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
