C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Róbson Gaspar scored to the left of an out of position Clóvis Mota, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Teixeira during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MARINOS F. C.'s Joel Teixeira got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Róbson Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Benjamim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbson Gaspar couldn't finish the play. Clóvis Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Gaspar in the 22nd minute of the match. Joel Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laércio Massa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Joel Teixeira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. Joel Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Hélio Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, MARINOS F. C.'s Falcão Coelho got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Gaspar in the 65th minute of play forced MARINOS F. C.'s goalkeeper Clóvis Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hélio Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, MARINOS F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Hélio Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clóvis Mota came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Benjamim's Róbson Gaspar. But to his dismay, Róbson Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
