Dário Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute, Paraná Clube's Sebastien De Hont dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 18th match minute, E.C Foz Do Iguaçu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Dário Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Elder Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Elder Ortiz took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Dário Cavalcante to make any attempt to save it. 27 minutes into the game, Sebastien De Hont cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dário Cavalcante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastien De Hont might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dário Cavalcante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastien De Hont ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's Celsinho Mattos got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a little luck, E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's Dário Cavalcante got control of the ball when Elder Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 51st minute, Elder Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dário Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. If Sebastien De Hont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastien De Hont came free, but Dário Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastien De Hont took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dário Cavalcante. Dário Cavalcante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Sebastien De Hont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dário Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Paraná Clube got a corner. E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genaro Seral ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Paraná Clube's corner Genaro Seral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dário Cavalcante quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastien De Hont in the 85th minute of play forced E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's goalkeeper Dário Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Elder Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's Dário Cavalcante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dário Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastien De Hont in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastien De Hont came free, but Dário Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraná Clube's Elder Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
