Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dráusio Pernambucano made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Santiago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Neto came free, but Valdomiro Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 4 minutes, André Luiz Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santiago FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luiz Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Santiago FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Aírton Goiano hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, João Adolfo da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdomiro Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdomiro Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Carioca in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Ekberg in the 12th minute of play forced Santiago FC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quico Sánchez kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Geovanni Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdomiro Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birol Refet in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Birol Refet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birol Refet in the 24th minute of play forced Santiago FC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quico Sánchez in the 25th minute of play forced Santiago FC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FIEL TUPÃ booed when Santiago FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, FIEL TUPÃ's Leonardo Arruda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdomiro Seco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FIEL TUPÃ reached it. Santiago FC's Valdomiro Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quico Sánchez in the 29th minute of play. Rogério Aparecido was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Santiago FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FIEL TUPÃ:s goal. Leonardo Arruda placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After some careless play in the Santiago FC defense, Omar Morera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdomiro Seco. The Santiago FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdomiro Seco should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute Cacá Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Santiago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Ekberg came free, but Valdomiro Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Quico Sánchez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdomiro Seco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Santiago FC's Valdomiro Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Ekberg in the 43rd minute of play. Valdomiro Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quico Sánchez in the 44th minute of play. Valdomiro Seco came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FIEL TUPÃ's Göran Ekberg. But to his dismay, Göran Ekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cacá Carioca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cacá Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Ekberg took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdomiro Seco. Valdomiro Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Valdomiro Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quico Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago FC's Valdomiro Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Neto in the 59th minute of play. Cacá Carioca came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valdomiro Seco could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Göran Ekberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Valdomiro Seco to make any attempt to save it. 65 minutes into the game, Omar Morera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdomiro Seco. Omar Morera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Göran Ekberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdomiro Seco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Göran Ekberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Dráusio Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Valdomiro Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Filipe Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FIEL TUPÃ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santiago FC the free kick. After 76 played minutes FIEL TUPÃ got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Neto. Birol Refet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdomiro Seco came out and tried to block the shot, but Birol Refet slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Göran Ekberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Valdomiro Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santiago FC's Valdomiro Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quico Sánchez in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Ekberg in the 91st minute of play forced Santiago FC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdomiro Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Morera, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Cacá Carioca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Valdomiro Seco made a huge save.
