Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jânio Gerber kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, José Paulo da Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colômbia V.T's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carbonita the free kick. In the 3rd minute, José Paulo da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Jefferson da Cunha notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Colômbia V.T's Osvaldinho Souto. Osvaldinho Souto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudinho dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Machado having to interfere. Carbonita's Hermínio Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo da Silveira in the 17th minute of play. Osvaldinho Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson da Cunha in the 23rd minute of play. José Paulo da Silveira was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 26 played minutes Colômbia V.T got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo da Silveira. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio Gerber during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carbonita booed when Colômbia V.T was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jânio Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Colômbia V.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Coelho to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Colômbia V.T's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Motta came free, but Osvaldinho Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gugu Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Hermínio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Célio Motta made the kick off in the second half. Osvaldinho Souto had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Célio Motta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Célio Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carbonita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Célio Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvaldinho Souto made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Jefferson da Cunha sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jefferson da Cunha got free with Osvaldinho Souto in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Carbonita's Célio Motta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldinho Souto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Carbonita fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Carbonita's Jefferson da Cunha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 74 minutes, Célio Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carbonita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Célio Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinho dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Colômbia V.T's Osvaldinho Souto got control of the ball when Jefferson da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match, Célio Motta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osvaldinho Souto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute Célio Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Motta in the 95th minute of play forced Colômbia V.T's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson da Cunha's late challenge caught a Colômbia V.T's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jefferson da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes Carbonita got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson da Cunha. The Colômbia V.T fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carbonita were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
