After 21 played minutes Neto FC got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Lima. José Paulo da Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Carlos Freitas made a huge save. If Emin Kaan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Souto having to interfere. Carlos Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Colômbia V.T players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Neto FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jânio Gerber was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Colômbia V.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Colômbia V.T's Osvaldinho Souto got control of the ball when Emin Kaan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emin Kaan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 56th playminute. Osvaldinho Souto made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Carlos Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the game, Emin Kaan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Osvaldinho Souto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jânio Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jânio Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudinho dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Gerber in the 90th minute of play forced Neto FC's goalkeeper Carlos Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neto FC played a much better game than Colômbia V.T and deserved their victory. The Colômbia V.T players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
