Gwidon Awizo came out of the goal and Geraldo Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geraldo Mirandas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Gwidon Awizo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Miranda in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwidon Awizo saved SC ITAJAI from getting behind. After a rather tough play, SC ITAJAI's Narciso Garcia got a free kick in the 29th minute. Gwidon Awizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir Peres in the 30th minute. Hudson Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Miranda in the 38th minute of play forced SC ITAJAI's goalkeeper Gwidon Awizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Awizo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geraldo Miranda's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Egídio Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Tio Patinhas got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Duarte. With a little luck, Tio Patinhas's Hudson Cordeiro got control of the ball when Paulinho de Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gwidon Awizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Gwidon Awizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
