Cláudio de Toledo's late challenge caught a Nitra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio de Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, PERNAMBUCO CLUBE ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. César Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. PERNAMBUCO CLUBE ⚽'s César Motta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save PERNAMBUCO CLUBE ⚽ from getting a goal against them. Williams Ferrari struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. César Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nitra FC. 35 minutes into the match, PERNAMBUCO CLUBE ⚽'s Agostinho Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo Maranhense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Williams Ferrari received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. César Motta came out and tried to block the shot, but Williams Ferrari slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 40th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agostinho Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Yuri Tutorskiy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of César Motta. PERNAMBUCO CLUBE ⚽'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Tutorskiy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When Yuri Tutorskiy came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Nitra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Tutorskiy couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Yuri Tutorskiy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. César Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. César Motta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charles Pimenta went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the game, Nitra FC's Charles Pimenta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. César Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. The Nitra FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Nitra FC's Yuri Tutorskiy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yuri Tutorskiy scored 10-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César Motta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcel Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Williams Ferrari in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg César Motta saved PERNAMBUCO CLUBE ⚽ from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Yuri Tutorskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César Motta was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Williams Ferrari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. César Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. After some careless play in the PERNAMBUCO CLUBE ⚽ defense, Charles Pimenta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Motta. The PERNAMBUCO CLUBE ⚽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Motta should have stopped the shot. When Williams Ferrari came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Nitra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Williams Ferrari couldn't finish the play.
