With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armandinho Loureiro in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomás Proença saved Maricá FC from getting behind. In the 29th match minute, 50 Tons de Idade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Emiliano Pezzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomás Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armandinho Loureiro to make the kick off. Betão Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cutberto Clemente went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Cutberto Clemente might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão Mazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cutberto Clemente ran back to his position shaking his head. After 70 minutes, Emiliano Pezzi made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. 50 Tons de Idade's Betão Mazza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, 50 Tons de Idade's Armandinho Loureiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Maricá FC's Thomás Proença proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Maricá FC from getting a goal against them.
