With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiaguinho Dias in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jânio Tróia saved GAVIÕES F.C from getting behind. After 52 minutes, Giuseppe Proença mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GAVIÕES F.C and the Coqueiros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Coqueiros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 82 minutes into the match, GAVIÕES F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Mineiro came free, but Jânio Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jânio Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Tiaguinho Dias might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jânio Tróia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
