Soneca AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarbas Campidelis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Tomás do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes of play, The Blues Brothers FC's Sílvio Luís da Silva made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wiliam Hoffmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 played minutes Soneca AC got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Maranhense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Ramos got free with Wiliam Hoffmann in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Blues Brothers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Márcio Ramos in the 32nd minute. 32 minutes into the game, Raúl Custódio lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Wiliam Hoffmann. Jarbas Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuur Raeymakers in the 37th minute of the match. The Blues Brothers FC's Jarbas Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuur Raeymakers in the 39th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Márcio Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiliam Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 60 minutes into the game, Márcio Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Blues Brothers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soneca AC the free kick. After a rather tough play, The Blues Brothers FC's Márcio Ramos got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Soneca AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luís da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to The Blues Brothers FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hélder Tavares hit a great ball. Soneca AC's Wiliam Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Ramos in the 74th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Blues Brothers FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! The Blues Brothers FC:s Jarbas Campidelis showed great skill when he stopped Fred Perez:s penalty. A hard shot by Betinho Maranhense from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Jarbas Campidelis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Márcio Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the The Blues Brothers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio Ramos couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind The Blues Brothers FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Campidelis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Fred Perez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soneca AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
