Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Evaristo Gaspar made the kick off which started today's match. When Evaristo Gaspar fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medianeira's protests and gave Evaristo Gaspar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Medianeira getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Evaristo Gaspar hit a great ball. Erasmo Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Ramos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Adalberto Passos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Léo Lago. Adalberto Passos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Medianeira's Léo Lago got control of the ball when Wilson Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Haroldo Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalberto Passos took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Lago. Léo Lago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Adalberto Passos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léo Lago. Medianeira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adalberto Passos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 36th minute, Adalberto Passos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Léo Lago, passed just outside the right post. After 42 played minutes CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Urtsín Dumont. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Veiga got free with Léo Lago in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 49 minutes into the game, Wilson Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Léo Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilson Veiga to make the kick off. Adalberto Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CORINTHIANS's Ronaldo Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Figueiredo in the 62nd minute of play. Haroldo Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ronaldo Barral made a huge save. Adalberto Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Wilson Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Léo Lago was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Elder Figueiredo took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Ronaldo Barral to make any attempt to save it. CORINTHIANS made a substitution. Rui Borges replaced Erasmo Ramos. CORINTHIANS made a substitution. Osmar Neiva replaced Adalberto Passos. CORINTHIANS's Caio Paiva was substituted for Artur Bueno. Ronaldo Barral made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Haroldo Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. CORINTHIANS's Moisés de Almeida pulled a muscle in his leg after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Haroldo Alagoano's late challenge caught a CORINTHIANS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Medianeira got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Alagoano. Léo Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Barral was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Elder Figueiredo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elder Figueiredo really showed his touch with that goal: 5-4. 99 minutes into the match, Vágner do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldo Barral. CORINTHIANS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vágner do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-5. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
