CORINTHIANS's Ronaldo Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Long Zheng in the 3rd minute of play. Ronaldo Barral came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Locomia's Hernani Diniz. But to his dismay, Hernani Diniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th match minute, Locomia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Lago to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bato Gol got free with Ronaldo Barral in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CORINTHIANS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Long Zheng scored to the left of an out of position Ronaldo Barral, making the score, 2-0. In the 23rd minute Long Zheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Piacentini hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. CORINTHIANS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Ezequiel Freitas scored to the left of an out of position Ronaldo Barral, making the score, 3-0. Elivélton Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Long Zheng came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Locomia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Long Zheng couldn't finish the play. Adalberto Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ronaldo Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Long Zheng in the 44th minute of the match. Elivélton Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilson Veiga was the one to do the kick off. Adalberto Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cauã Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes of play, Locomia's Hernani Diniz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldo Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronaldo Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bato Gol in the 60th minute of the match. Ronaldo Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Long Zheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CORINTHIANS's Caio Paiva was substituted for Artur Bueno. Ronaldo Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 86th minute, Long Zheng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldo Barral was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 89th match minute, CORINTHIANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtsín Dumont to maneuver through the defense. Locomia's Long Zheng got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the CORINTHIANS defense, Hernani Diniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Barral. The CORINTHIANS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Barral should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Locomia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
