Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Collonials FC's goalkeeper Bruno Severo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adalberto Passos. Erasmo Ramos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Severo came out and tried to block the shot, but Erasmo Ramos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. With an all-out effort, CORINTHIANS's Bruno Severo threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erasmo Ramos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 11th minute, Gilvan Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Collonials FC's Bruno Severo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Collonials FC from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Amauri Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match, Adalberto Passos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Severo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of CORINTHIANS booed when Collonials FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Erasmo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalberto Passos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Wilson Veiga made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Adalberto Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CORINTHIANS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gilvan Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bruno Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Collonials FC's Amauri Barreto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amauri Barreto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Collonials FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amauri Barreto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Collonials FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave CORINTHIANS a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adalberto Passos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Collonials FC's Bruno Severo. 4-2. Bruno Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Collonials FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Passos came free, but Bruno Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes, Hudson de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CORINTHIANS and the Collonials FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a left leg Bruno Severo saved Collonials FC from getting behind. Bruno Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CORINTHIANS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
