He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Locomia reached it. Claudinho Lago hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Locomia's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Nascimento came free, but Cauã Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Medianeira's protests and gave Léo Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. Elivélton Fantini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 33 played minutes Locomia got a freekick which was hit by Mané Paulista. Haroldo Alagoano scored 3-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauã Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Locomia booed when Medianeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Elivélton Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Locomia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elivélton Fantini couldn't finish the play. Léo Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Locomia fully deserved thier win.
