Waclaw Gejda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geraldo Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Róbson Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo de Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agnaldo de Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cercado getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Agnaldo de Andrade hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, Divini Race F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Viana to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Júnior Coelho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waclaw Gejda skillfully saved the ball. Róbson Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Divini Race F.C's Nico Valle in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 29thth minute of the game Geraldo Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cercado's Róbson Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geraldo Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geraldo Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Róbson Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Divini Race F.C. After having played for 35 minutes, Silvério Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divini Race F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvério Mello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geraldo Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Róbson Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Fonseca in the 41st minute of play forced Cercado's goalkeeper Róbson Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Geraldo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráuzio Lima struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Róbson Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Divini Race F.C. After the first half Divini Race F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Geraldo Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Júnior Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 55 minutes into the match, Cercado's goalkeeper Róbson Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geraldo Fonseca. A collision led to Cercado getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Vito Medeiros hit a great ball. Geraldo Fonseca shot from long distance in the 58th minute, but Róbson Coelho was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Nico Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Róbson Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nico Valle in the 64th minute. Cercado's Róbson Coelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Cercado from getting a goal against them. Divini Race F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the final whistle sounded Divini Race F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cercado.
