Durval Donatello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Urbano in the 11th minute. Eriberto Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Kamikaze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Adelino Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 19 in the game by Percival Arce from a close distance when the talented Durval Donatello managed to make a qualified save. Kamikaze's players were relieved. Régis Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kamikaze's zone, Percival Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval Donatello came out of the goal and Percival Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Sidnei Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, João Carlos Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sidnei Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percival Arce might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Donatello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percival Arce ran back to his position shaking his head. Dorival Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Samuca de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Régis Souto to make the kick off. Walmir França kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. João Carlos Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dedê Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamikaze's Durval Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Arce in the 63rd minute of play. Régis Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Samuca de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percival Arce in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durval Donatello saved Kamikaze from getting behind. Durval Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's Samuca de Carvalho got control of the ball when Régis Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Carlos Salles hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. João Carlos Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, João Carlos Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Carlos Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jano Rodrigues hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
