FC Schalke 04's Lúcio Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Schalke 04 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Arp in the 6th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Schalke 04's Lúcio Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FC Schalke 04 from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Edson Fonseca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Microsoft Team's Décio Barbosa did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Catarinense got free with Lúcio Simões in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Microsoft Team getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cauã Vinhas hit a great ball. 22 minutes in the game, Fe De dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The supporters of FC Schalke 04 booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, FC Schalke 04's Fe De nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Décio Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 38 minutes, Edson Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Schalke 04 and the Microsoft Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Schalke 04 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Edson Fonseca hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 51 played minutes FC Schalke 04 got a freekick which was hit by Hans Arp. Luiz Eduardo Netto struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Lúcio Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Microsoft Team. A collision led to FC Schalke 04 getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Basílio Rosado hit a great ball. Lúcio Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 63 played minutes, Microsoft Team's Sérgio Loureiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lúcio Simões came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Microsoft Team reached it. In the 65th match minute, FC Schalke 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Roger Guerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lúcio Simões. FC Schalke 04's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to FC Schalke 04 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Edson Fonseca hit a great ball. Lúcio Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes FC Schalke 04's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roger Guerra who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Microsoft Team's zone, Marcinho Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Barbosa came out of the goal and Marcinho Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Microsoft Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Schalke 04:s goal. Edson Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Microsoft Team's Décio Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fe De in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Schalke 04's Hans Arp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Décio Barbosa. That made the score 0-2 after 91 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fe De in the 94th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Schalke 04's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
