After a defensive mix-up in Itaci's zone, Marcelo Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Donatello came out of the goal and Marcelo Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prazeres EC's Marcelo Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 played minutes Prazeres EC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Seco. After 92 played minutes Itaci got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Meirelles. When the final whistle sounded Prazeres EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Itaci.
