Marcelo Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Nascimento in the 10th minute of the match. Mauro Meirelles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Duncan having to make a save. Itaci's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Marcelo Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Souza in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Donatello saved Itaci from getting behind. Naldo Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Duncan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Itaci's Luís Paulo Favoretto got a free kick in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Ezequiel Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardinho Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Duncan having to interfere. Renan Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maicon Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Donatello having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, Mauro Meirelles made a precise shot to the right of Tim Duncan. Anjos Mágicos MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Marcelo Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Tepedino in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Maicon Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Donatello. Itaci's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maicon Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 89thth minute of the game Ezequiel Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itaci's Marcelo Donatello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tim Duncan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Meirelles in the 94th minute of play. Bernardinho Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Tim Duncan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
