Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dino Esteves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jânio Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute Dino da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fernando Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Piauiense's Renatinho de Sousa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Fernando Sanches. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Ulisses Porto came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Shooting Stars 4EVER's Dino Esteves. But to his dismay, Dino Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Jânio Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Valdo Furlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulisses Porto. Atlético Piauiense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdo Furlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Dino Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ulisses Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Atlético Piauiense's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Furlan came free, but Ulisses Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Shooting Stars 4EVER getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Basílio Leite hit a great ball. Dino da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fernando Sanches having to interfere. Andrézinho Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulisses Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Shooting Stars 4EVER's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dino da Rocha. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Jânio Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shooting Stars 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Jânio Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Renatinho de Sousa made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdo Furlan during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Shooting Stars 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Furlan to maneuver through the defense. After 55 minutes, Cacá Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Piauiense and the Shooting Stars 4EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cacá Macedo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ulisses Porto made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Dino Esteves sent off a good shot on target. The audience held their breath when Eriberto de Toledo in the 67th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Luís Fernando Sanches's left hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Dino Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shooting Stars 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Esteves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the game, Atlético Piauiense's Dráusio Pombal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fernando Sanches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Shooting Stars 4EVER's Luís Fernando Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho de Sousa in the 75th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, Atlético Piauiense's Cleiton Melo made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Fernando Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Atlético Piauiense's Dino da Rocha got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Valdo Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Shooting Stars 4EVER booed when Atlético Piauiense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Piauiense were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
