Raúl Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Mota in the 9th minute of the match. Jeremias Arce hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Cesinha Souto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raúl Camargo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Haroldo Teles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Raúl Camargo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cafu de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raúl Camargo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesinha Souto in the 23rd minute. Marasco's Haroldo Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Nildo Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Sydney Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marasco's supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúl Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesinha Souto got free with Raúl Camargo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Teless short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Raúl Camargo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nildo Teles in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cafu de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Teles made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Marasco's Haroldo Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raúl Camargo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Methos FC's Raúl Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Mota in the 57th minute of play. Sydney Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Raúl Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raúl Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Souto in the 85th minute of play. Marasco's Cafu de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Marasco from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Teles in the 89th minute of play forced Methos FC's goalkeeper Raúl Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu de Queiroz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nildo Teles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 90 minute of play. Nildo Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
