With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Fabiano de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Oliveira came free, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Paublo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luiz Fabiano de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blue Mountain State's Luiz Eduardo Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro-Gabriel Viana in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute Lautaro-Gabriel Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Mountain State's zone, Lautaro-Gabriel Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eduardo Vargas came out of the goal and Lautaro-Gabriel Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Sebastian Zieba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Lautaro-Gabriel Viana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Eduardo Vargas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Eduardo Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Zieba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Eduardo Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Di Yuan Liang in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Di Yuan Liang came free, but Luiz Eduardo Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Yuan Liang in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Pombal 2003 F.C. got a corner. Blue Mountain State's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michel Toscano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Sebastian Zieba getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Pombal 2003 F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Betão Peixoto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Blue Mountain State's Alexander Pasinati got a free kick in the 64th minute. Luiz Eduardo Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Di Yuan Liang in the 68th minute of the match. Sebastian Zieba struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Luiz Eduardo Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pombal 2003 F.C.. Di Yuan Liang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Vargas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Di Yuan Liang made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Eduardo Vargas. Blue Mountain State's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After having played for 86 minutes, Angelo Paublo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Mountain State's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Paublo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Eduardo Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro-Gabriel Viana in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute Betão Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Luiz Fabiano de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Oliveira in the 94th minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Vargas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian Zieba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 96 minute of play. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
