Anderson Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blue Mountain State's Angelo Paublo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Star Sports defense, Enzo Romo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anderson Peixoto. The Star Sports fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anderson Peixoto should have stopped the shot. Anderson Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Paublo in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Enzo Romo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Star Sports's Anderson Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Star Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Paublo came free, but Anderson Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Jailson Oliveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Anderson Peixoto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Blue Mountain State's Alexander Pasinati pulled a muscle in his back after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Blue Mountain State's Remo Quintal was substituted for Alexander Pasinati. In the 90th match minute, Star Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Borges to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Enzo Romo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anderson Peixoto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Blue Mountain State left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Star Sports.
