The supporters of Taciua booed when Malvadeza Mode ON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malvadeza Mode ON's Emerson Severo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Malvadeza Mode ON from getting a goal against them. Emerson Severo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Taciua's Ronaldo Pimenta. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Pimenta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Malvadeza Mode ON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Seco to maneuver through the defense. Fred Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Emerson Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taciua. If Ronaldo Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ronaldo Pimenta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Severo having to make a save. With a little luck, Malvadeza Mode ON's Emerson Severo got control of the ball when Rogério Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taciua's Cléber Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Munhoz in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Seco in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cléber Miranda saved Taciua from getting behind. Cléber Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Fred Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Taciua's Marcelinho Lago dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Rogério Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Emerson Severo made a huge save. Marcelinho Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Severo having to interfere. Emerson Severo was a little too slow when André Lara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-0. With a little luck, Malvadeza Mode ON's Emerson Severo got control of the ball when Bernardinho de Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Marcelinho Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogério Motta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Rogério Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taciua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Fred Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taciua's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 78 minutes, André Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taciua's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Malvadeza Mode ON's zone, Marcelinho Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Severo came out of the goal and Marcelinho Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fred Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Emerson Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emerson Severo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Motta's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Ronaldo Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taciua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Malvadeza Mode ON getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Raimundo Félix hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Rogério Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taciua's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emerson Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Trancoso in the 95th minute of play. Taciua's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
