Eliseu Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Pimenta in the 8th minute of play. Rogério Motta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseu Custódio having to make a save. Bernardinho de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Custódio having to interfere. Eliseu Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Pimenta in the 15th minute of the match. If Ronaldo Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes, Duarte Proença mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curinhaem and the Taciua players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duarte Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Curinhaem's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Pimenta came free, but Eliseu Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
